The Cardijn Association is
independent and invites individuals, church communities, ecumenical groups and all those who agree with its goals to participate and co-operate
ecumenical in the sense of interdenominational cooperation for justice, participation, sustainability and future viability of our societies
committed to the core ideas of Joseph Cardijn with regard to the value and dignity of every human being, especially workers, and the methods of participation and change through joint action
The Cardijn Association
organises seminars and workshops on the topics of theology, the world of work and the economy
organises further education and training for full-time and voluntary workers who work with people in difficult working and living conditions, with the unemployed and job seekers, people in precarious living conditions,... and work together with them to bring about change
publishes materials on Christian-motivated criticism of existing social and economic conditions, as well as on participatory methods and actions
provides spaces for ecumenical networks and initiatives
produces contributions to a liberating and contextual, transformative theology
